These new 'Type 2' Seal Savers are an improvement on the 'Type 1' in that they do not have the velcro which could become stiff and didn't seal as well as these new ones. The new 'Type 2' Seal Savers are better, but do require the removal of the fork tubes for installation. For upside down forks, gently ease the smallest circle area of the 'Type 2' Seal Saver down over the fork, past the wider fork seal and half way down onto the chrome tube. Then zip tie the top area to prevent it slipping.
