A refreshed look and feel of one of our most popular products, designed to better suit the most recent Tenere 700 model(s).
Each rider and ride have different needs: Focusing on versatility and keeping the weight as little as possible, they've designed a new set of (lower and upper) crash bars that can be ordered and installed together – or separately.
Outback Motortek's Upper Crash Bars can only be mounted on our lower crash bars, and should be ordered by those who take their bike to the limit, offering additional protection to the side panels and the front top section of the bike.
Upper Crash Bars
- Hand MIG welded – It’s all about the strength! Outback continue to follow our philosophy: toughness and functionality over appearance. Although our welders make those welds look like art.
- 22mm steel tube with 2mm wall thickness – Matching the lower bars and the slim profile of the bike, while offering max protection.
- Less is often more – Preserves the low centre of gravity feature of the latest T7, by using 22mm steel crash bars. Many other manufacturers use 25mm and even 27mm tubing to protect the upper part of your T7, installed even higher up, thus making it top heavier while not guaranteeing better impact absorption.
- Tough mounting points – Strong clamps for perfect fitment using 5mm thick metal. Strong top fitment points, on our signature T-bracket that mounts directly on the frame.
- Powder coated – combined with sandblasting it’s a killer combination to protect your product’s surface. No frills and tough just like your Tenere 700.
